Great Things — Eucharistic Youth Congress

Parish Group Leader Info:

  • Sat­ur­day, Sep­tem­ber 23, 2017 , 10AM-7PM, Con­cert until 8PM. Leave site by 8:30 the lat­est please.
  • For teens 8th grade (con­fir­ma­tion stu­dents) through 12th Grade.
  • Cost: $20/person, includes 2 meals and T-Shirt.
  • *Dress Code at the Shrine: Atten­dees (adult and teen) will put the event T-Shirt on when arriv­ing; this is for iden­ti­ty but also elim­i­nates dress code issues with tops. Shorts MUST reach the knee. Jeans OK. No leg­gings, jeg­gings, or span­dex shorts/pants. No writ­ing on the seats of pants/shorts.
  • Adult Ratio: Each parish group must bring a min­i­mum of 1 adult for every 7 teens (an adult is one of appro­pri­ate age accord­ing to Dioce­san pol­i­cy AND has com­plet­ed their child pro­tec­tion process). 
  • Arrival at shrine: Check-in begins at 9:30, day starts at 10am.
  • End­ing: Ado­ra­tion will con­clude at 7PM. Groups who need to leave are wel­come to,  but we will con­tin­ue with a con­cert until 8pm.
  • Parish groups are respon­si­ble to super­vise their own teens, as you would at any oth­er venue. The event is spon­sored by the Office of Reli­gious Edu­ca­tion, Office of Voca­tions, Office of His­pan­ic Min­istries, and the Office of Dis­ci­ple­ship and Mis­sion.
